SNGS
Unfortunately 6-tabling didn't happen this month. Had some problems with my computer and it's been out of action until now. Work was super-busy too, and I was in Germany for a month so I've not had the chance to play alllll that much. What I have played though has went really well, it's all been 2-tabling on the laptop. I swung up pretty big this month, I really attribute this to only playing when i'm concentrating 100%, whereas in previous months I'd often fire up a couple of SNGs when I was tired, or not playing my A game. It's taken a year, but now I only play when I'm on form, and my stats are benefitting from it big time.
My Sharkscope ROI for the $27s is now up to 32.5% for over 200 tourneys. Still a small sample size, but I'm happy with the way i'm progressing.
Another plus for the month was finishing off a $150 bonus on Stars, a nice wee bankroll boost.
Won the ITH article of the month competition again this month, for the 2nd part to my Turbo SNG Tips article. I'll post links to both of the articles on ITH when the 2nd one is up. Got $200 worth of stakes in Matthew Hilger for his 2007 WSOP which is really cool, I normally rail his tourneys on Cardplayer anyways, so it'll make it even more exciting having some cash in him this time.
Cash
Didn't really play any Cash this month. Pissed around with some games on Stars, but nothing to write home about. I still suck as cash, for sure. :P
Online MTTs
Noooo luck. Not played too many, no results!
Live MTTs
Errrrrr... See GBPT post below. Home game with guys from work tomorrow night too, should be fun. Hopefully my new felt wont moult like the last one. :S
Live poker is so much better than online poker it's silly. The people, the personalities, the chips, the beer, the cards. I love live poker. If you don't play much live, gets some beers in and invite some friends or family round. If they don't know how to play, teach them!
Books
Finished reading The Zen of Poker, this book was fantastic. The sections on folding, and getting into the flow of the game were particularly good. It succeeded giving me the information to up my game in the late stages of tourneys, and play much better under pressure. I can definately focus a lot clearer when playing now, and am making much better decisions as a result of it. Oh, and there were quotes from CHUCK FUCKING NORRIS in it, how does it get any better than that?
Also finished Mike Caros Book of Poker Tells. Wow, this book was really great. Learned a lot from it, was good to put it in to practise at GBPT. One of the main premises of the book is "strong means weak", meaning that when an opponent is 'acting', you should figure out what he's trying to get you to do, and do the opposite. When an opponent is acting strong, he's weak. If he's acting weak, he's strong. There were also a lot of good examples of 'non-acting' tells, things that people don't realize they do that helps indicate the strength of their hand. The only down-side of the book was that a lot of the examples were for games other than hold'em. But once you get the fundementals of what Caro is putting across, you can apply them to any situation, and figure out new tells. Looking forward to picking up the Hellmuth/FBI dude's one.

Conclusion
Next month... i'll be busting my ass at work again, so dunno how much poker will be played. The computer is fixed though! \o/ So i'll be 4-tabling instead of 2-tabling so I should get more games in. Gonna haul ass down to the OfficePoker tourney near the end of the month too, hopefully break my duck there. On the reading list, i'm not too sure... will probably start reading Ace on the River, I had a flick through and it looks real good. It's fucking MASSIVE though, pain to read on the bus! Have a good month dudes.
